Delhi got its third Dilli Haat on 13 July, 2014 as Dilli Haat at Janakpuri was inaugurated in a colorful ceremony by Sh. Parvesh Sahib Singh, Honâble MP. Sh. Jagdish Mukhi, Honâble MLA and Smt. Rajni Mamtani, Honâble Councilor graced the occasion with their presence. Ms. Rinku Dhugga, Secretary (Tourism), Govt. of Delhi, Dr. Puneet Kr. Goel, MD & CEO, DTTDC & Sh. Ravi Dadhich, General Manager DTTDC were also present among other dignitaries.

DHJP is more spacious than the other two Dilli Haats which are at INA and Pitampura. Dilli Haat, Janakpuri is spread over a sprawling area of 8.00 acres. This new venue showcases the countryâs craft and cultural tradition, and is an open air shopperâs paradise which is a one stop destination for art, craft, and music and food lovers. This Dilli Haat has been developed by Delhi Tourism at a cost of Rs. 120 Crore.
Dilli Haat has a provision of 100 Nos. of typical craft stalls, 74 Nos. open platform shops, 46 Nos. of A.C Shops. These stalls showcase ethnic and exotic products and materials exclusive to India. There are endless shopping opportunities for the visitors as it brings Indiaâs old rural tradition of open market space to contemporary and modern Delhi.
Dilli Haat, Janakpuri gives ample opportunity for food lovers to savor delectable lip smacking food as there are 14 Nos. of food stalls set up where one will be able to savor the flavors from across the country and 15 food stalls serving cuisines from around the world.
A sprawling Exposition Hall spreading over 960 Sqm. has been set up at DilliHaat, Janakpuri where various exhibitions, seminars, events etc takes place. The outer walls of the exposition halls will be covered by creepers which will provide a green roof top.
This new Dilli Haat will be fully equipped with an A.C Auditorium which has a capacity of 800 seats. This auditorium will have the latest technology and equipments and will be the biggest modern auditorium in West Delhi.
An Amphitheatre having 820 seat capacities is another special feature at the Haat which not only encourages art and culture but is also a one stop destination for various cultural events.
Some special features of the Haat are - A huge dormitory with 80 beds ,5 Nos. of public toilets with energy efficient fittings and light fixtures, 24 x 7 Power back up, Proper sewage treatment plant, water treatment plant, rain water harvesting and 3 garbage dumping spaces have also been constructed to keep the Haat clean and eco friendly.
The new Dilli Haat has been developed with a number of eco-friendly features and is fully disabled-friendly. Lifts, ramps and escalators are installed for the convenience of differently-abled persons and senior citizens.
Keeping in mind the security of the general public, CCTV cameras have been installed at the venue which provides proper surveillance. There are provisions of parking at the basement and surface area. More than 240 cars, 3 buses can be parked at the surface area and almost 55 cars and 120 two wheeler can be parked at the basement parking area.

Cost of ticket is Rs.20/- for adult and Rs.10/- for child.
