Delhi Tourism is the nodal agency for film shooting facilitation in Delhi. Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India has advised for creation of online single window clearance mechanism for facilitation of production agencies.
Delhi Tourism’s e-Film clearance has been developed by NIC on e-District portal of GNCTD, wherein all concerned location stakeholder departments of Government of India, Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi and other independent agencies, responsible for providing approvals for film shooting in the National Capital Territory of Delhi.
Film Shooting Promotion Cell (FSPC) focuses on integrating the process followed by stake holders agencies and offers a single portal for film shooting permission.
This is a robust online system catering to individuals and production houses to obtain filming permission within Delhi. The FSPC aims to facilitate the film shooting permissions in Delhi.
Film shooting permissions will cover feature films, commercials, TV serials, travelogues, web series, documentaries, short films, music albums, corporate films, etc. to be shot in locations, area and facilities owned by State, Central government departments and other institutions/ agencies.
The objective is to provide completely online single window clearance mechanism for the production agenicies by streamlining the current processes and provide film shooting permissions in a time bound manner to the applicants.
Delhi Tourism is working for branding of Delhi as a National and International film shooting destination.
