Promoted by Rural Livelihoods Division of the Department of Rural Development, Ministry of Rural Development, the Saras Gallery spread over a spacious 4500 Sqft.area, has been set up to provide market access for the produce of the members of the women self-help groups promoted up by NRLM, all across rural India.
The Saras Gallery showcases a curated collection of goods produced by the poor women members of self- help groups from pan India.
Unmatched patterns of handmade arts produced by self-help groups of rural women such as bed sheets, brass items, clay lamps, wooden toys, carpets, furniture, decorative items, lanterns, pickles, jam, brass figurines, leather bags, handmade masks and many more items are available for sale.
All goods sold in the gallery are sourced from these rural women groups and the sales proceeds transferred to them.
