The Hazrat Nizamuddin ki Baoll is one of the oldest surviving baolis (stepwells) in the city. Built around 700 years ago by the mystic and saint Hazrat Nizamuddin Auliya, its waters are reputed to possess miraculous healing powers.
The circular tank at its centre receives constant supply of water from a natural spring within it. Protected by the Archaeological Survey of India, the baoli is a hub of various religious and social activities.
